It's an exciting announcement each year, when Disney announces the dates for Mickey's Not-so-Scary Halloween Party. The DIS is listing the following information for MNSSHP 2009. I will admit that I've never been to this event, but we are either going to go to this, or Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party this year. Can't wait to try either of these popular events!
According to the DIS: Guests, especially children, are invited to wear costumes. However, guests are asked to choose costumes that are not obstructive to the child's view or that may be offensive to other park guests. I know that we would definitely wear costumes, but would be very careful to abide by the rules that Disney sets for the event.
Here is the information regarding dates/times from the DIS:
September Dates: 4, 11, 15, 18, 22, 25, 29
October Dates: 1, 2, 6, 8, 9, 12, 13, 15, 18, 20, 22, 23, 25, 27, 29, 31
Tickets go on sale May 1, 2009
Hours: 7:00 pm - midnight
Parade: 8:15 and 10:30
Fireworks: 9:30

There are plenty of other great resources for this event, but these are some of the more popular ones. Be cautious, though - as most sites still have 2008 dates listed. Be sure you are viewing the 2009 dates! More information will be coming out soon, but you do have a little time until you can book.
How about you? Are you hoping to attend MNSSHP? Have you been in the past? How cool is it? Would you say that it is well worth the extra hard ticket price for the event? Would love to hear some information from people who have been to MNSSHP.
