My kids are HUGE - nope - scratch that - ENORMOUS SpongeBob fans, so some of these specials are out of this world! Nick Hotel Parting Ways with Holiday Inn

Some interesting news about the Nickelodeon Family Suites in Orlando. I received this from the Nick Hotel's public relations folks. 

Beginning Jan. 5, 2009, the Nickelodeon Hotel will hoist its own flag as an independent resort, marketing itself exclusively as an extension of the world-famous Nickelodeon brand, and will launch a new, dedicated reservation number.  Guests and travel partners will be able to book reservations at Nickelodeon Hotel’s newly dedicated number, (877) NICK-KID, or online at www.nickhotel.com. 
 
For guests, little will change aside from the reservation number.  The Nickelodeon Hotel will continue to offer the ultimate family-friendly vacation with unique entertainment in the only resort where kids rule.  In addition, the Nickelodeon Hotel will remain under the strategic management of the same great ownership team.
 
The Nickelodeon Hotel has enjoyed a great relationship with Holiday Inn, which has helped the property create a strong foundation over the last five years.  During that time, the Nickelodeon Hotel has also become a recognizable singular resort property to its loyal guests.  It is with that knowledge that the Hotel opted not to renew its licensing agreement with Holiday Inn.
